About ConnectUS

ConnectUS is a nine-month project led by Fulbright & Friends Serbia with support from the Macedonian American Alumni Association and funded by the U.S. Department of State. At the heart of the program is this platform — a secure, invite-only alumni directory where members can log in, search by program, year, industry, or expertise, and update their profiles.

The platform makes it easier than ever to find fellow alumni, collaborate across fields, and stay engaged. Alongside it, ConnectUS offers professional development and networking opportunities to ensure alumni thrive personally and professionally.

The project's goal is to strengthen and revitalise the U.S. alumni community in Serbia.

Project Activities

Platform Development

A secure online directory uniting alumni from nine U.S. exchange programs — invite-only, searchable, and built for community use.

Academic Bootcamp

A two-month hybrid program for 30 alumni, building skills in entrepreneurship, leadership, and career resilience.

Networking Sessions

Three online networking events across business, academia, and civil society to spark collaboration and mentorship.

Final Alumni Gathering

An in-person Belgrade event highlighting alumni achievements and presenting ConnectUS as a lasting community hub.
